Leave that instance and enter another with a new crew, same deal. Ships just adrift and everyone is just shooting the breeze. A real sign that you’re not alone in feeling that way is when everyone is just sitting and talking. Problem is it lacks variety to the extreme and it gets monotonous. Don’t get me wrong, when you first play you’re full of the “discovery” phase and it’s wonderful. It starts to feel like it’s just a place to talk to people and get a shitload of friend request.

Sea of thieves dodged the bad of a mmo but dodged the good of it too. Enough so that you probobaly just turn it back off and promise yourself you’ll come back to it. The bad thing is if you stop playing them for a bit you come back feeling overwhelmed and confused about what the hell you were in the middle of. From leveling and assigning each attribute point all the way to raids and endgame quest, it’s plenty to keep you firmly planted. The appeal of a MMO RPG can be placed on so many points.

It’s far more appealing than fable legends (I was in that for SEVERAL months too) although anyone that was in that knows it’s not saying much. I’ve seen a lot of the upgrades and changes along the way and the game has come a long way. I’ve been on the alphas for months, probably the first or second wave after it started.
